Step 1: Search for domain names for backorder
Enter the domain name or names that interest you, with suffixes, separating them with a space or new line if you have more than two names (e.g. mydomain.gr yoursdomain.com).
Once you have entered the names, click “Search” to see the availability of the names you selected.
Step 1a: Domain name search evolution for backorder
The search process for each domain name and each extension is displayed.
If the domain name is available for backorder, the message "The domain name is available for backorder" is displayed.
If the domain name is not available for backorder, the message "The domain name is not available for backorder" is displayed.
This stage is purely informational and we do not have to do anything.
Step 2: Select domain names for backorder
Select from the available names the ones you want to register.
Unavailable domain names are those that are not already registered.
Click "Select for editing" to proceed to the next stage.
Step 3: Edit domain names for backorder
In each "Owners" or "Domain Name Descriptions (only for .gr domain names)" table, click "Select" and select the items you have used in a previous backorder from the list of already registered items as described below in the "Options windows" paragraph or click "Create" to enter new items in the item entry window as described below in the "Import and edit windows" paragraph.
If you select already existing items, the "Create" button becomes "Edit" and you can edit them by clicking, as described below in the "Import and edit windows" paragraph.
The owner may differ from the system user.
In case you have the same items, the options "same owner", "same description" etc. allow you to register all the names in the same items in each table, without having to enter them separately for each domain name.
The description field is only necessary for .gr names, while for any other suffix, not required. In the description you should explain in detail the reason for registering the name.
Note: We inform you that an insufficient description of the name may lead to the application being rejected by EETT.
Click "Add to Cart" to proceed with your order.
 
Domain name contact selection window
Contact persons are the "Owners".
By clicking the "Select" button in the declaration of contact persons of the domain names, the list of already registered contact persons opens. The list shows the name, organization and email of the contact person, sorted alphabetically by name. If there are more than 10 contact persons, pagination is performed and the number of pages is displayed to select a display page. If there are more than 10 pages, the options for the first 10 are displayed and if we select, for example, the 9th, the options for pages from 5 to 14 will be displayed, etc.
In the box with the search icon, we can search for contact persons. For example, if we enter ãéï then the contact persons containing words starting with ãåù will be displayed, if we enter ãåù èåï the contact persons containing words starting with ãåù or èåï etc.
If the search yields results then the cancel search icon is displayed, otherwise it is not displayed, assuming that no results were found.
To select a contact person, we click on its line. With the Cancel button, no contact person is selected and we return to the previous state.
Domain name contact person creation window
Contact persons are the "Owners".
By clicking the "Create" button in the domain name contact person declaration, the new contact person registration window opens. The fields that must be entered are the Name (e.g. George Manousaridis), the Address (e.g. Valaoritou 20), the Region (e.g. Center), the Postal Code (e.g. 54625), the City (e.g. Thessaloniki), the Country selected from a list (e.g. Greece), the Telephone (e.g. +30.2310253999) and the Email (e.g. hostmaster@banet.gr). The optional fields are the Organization (e.g. banet S.A.) and the Fax (e.g. +30.2310253998)
If we click on the Insert button, the contact person will be registered and automatically selected and the button will change to Edit.
The registration is also made for future use.
With the Cancel button, the contact person is not registered or selected and we return to the previous state.
Domain name contact person editing window

By clicking the "Edit" button in the domain name contact person declaration, the editing window for the selected contact person opens. Descriptions, during domain name backorder, are only necessary for domain names with the suffix gr.
By pressing the "Select" button in the declaration of domain name descriptions, the list of already registered descriptions opens. The list is sorted alphabetically. If the descriptions are more than 10, pagination is performed and the number of pages is displayed to select a display page. If the pages are more than 10, the options for the first 10 are displayed and if we select, for example, the 9th, the options for pages from 5 to 14 will be displayed, etc.
In the box with the search icon, we can search for descriptions. For example, if we enter ßóô then descriptions containing words starting with ßóô will be displayed, if we enter ßóô èåì the descriptions containing words starting with ßóô or èåì etc.

Special terms of the contract.
The Customer responsibly declares that:

  • The information he/she declares is true and he/she does not knowingly violate the rights of third parties in the domain name requested for backorder.
  • He wishes the required action to be taken in accordance with the information submitted in this application.
  • He/She knows that the backorder process does not guarantee the registration of the domain name, but that an attempt will be made to register it on the expiration date plus the days of registration protection for the name.
  • He/She knows that in the event of successful registration of the domain name, the price paid corresponds to the registration cost plus the cost of providing the backorder service.
  • He knows that in the event of failure to register the domain name, the fee paid is not refunded, but is credited to his account and can be used for future purchases from our online store.
  • He/She is aware that in the case of a legal entity, the declarant binds the specific legal entity.
  • He knows that the same domain name cannot be requested for backorder by other customers at the same time.
  • He/She is aware that in certain services (e.g. domain name registration), he/she will receive, in addition to the order email, additional emails confirming the activation of the service.
  • For certain services, he knows how to confirm the activation of the service (If it is a domain name, this will be found in the "Customer Area" > "My domains". If it is a hosting package, this will be found in the "Customer Area" > "My hosting packages". In these areas he can review the confirmation of the activation of the service).
  • In any case, he is responsible for checking the correct execution of his order.
